Withering Frost Valentines Block Party this THURS FEB 9th 6-9pm!

Hello Tree lover! We're so excited to be sharing our love! This upcoming Thursday, February 9th, 6-9pm ish, we're taking part in this most excellent block party! And here at treehouse, not only will we be serving up luscious libations and kickass cocktails, we are also hosting a trunk show with the divine jeweler Nancy Kraskin, and....wait for it....a dream of ours is finally coming to fruition...we'll also have nail artist Nail Tite straight from Philly here to bling and beautify your digits out! Yes Yes Yes!!

*SUNDAY , JUNE 3rd : MACRAME MADNESS!!!!

Learn the art of knotting from the lovely and talented Dari from Papi's Mami fame. We DO love the owls and plant hangers....but macrame can be so much more.... In this class, learn the artful techniques of knot making...belts, bags, jewels, headbands, they're all at your fingertips!!! Materials provided, just bring your imagination...
SUNDAY JUNE 3rd, 2-5 pm : $40

*THURSDAY, JUNE 7TH : AWESOME APPLIQUE!!!

The art of creating designs and patterns by applying fabric on top of fabric is a versatile and fun way to embellish your textile creations. applique works hand-in-hand with embroidery, but gives you lots more coverage and impact with minimal time and effort. In this class we will learn 3 techniques for working with knits, wovens and felt. All supplies included.
THURSDAY, JUNE 7TH, 7-9PM : $45

*SUNDAY, JUNE 10th : JUNK TO JEWELS!

Do you hoard broken necklaces and single earrings? Have a junk drawer full of gems just waiting to sparkle in another life? In just one two hour session you’ll learn how to string and clasp necklaces and bracelets on silk and nylon thread. You’ll learn the basics of jump ring usage, as well as chain layering and clasping. All this will be done with cut apart treasures and loose bead findings. We’ll provide the know how and lotsa junk, feel free to bring your own baubles as well.
SUNDAY, JUNE 10TH, 6-8PM : $50 including materials

*THURSDAY, JUNE 14th : BLOCKPRINTING!!!!

Did you know that you can do simple textile printing using inexpensive items you can find at the grocery and art supply stores? In this 2-hour workshop you will learn to carve your own stamps out of a variety of materials, and print with them. These techniques can be used to customize clothing, home furnishings, paper goods, and practically anything else you can think of! All supplies included.
THURSDAY, JUNE 14TH, 7-9PM : $45

p.s. All of our classes take place in the treehouse, sometimes during business hours. Because of this, the classes are kept small so that everyone can participate (usually 4-6 people per class). We suggest signing up as soon as you know you want to take a class because once a class fills up, we'll start a waiting list for the next session.
