Last night's valentines day party was such fun! Was so great to see so many treehouse friends old and new! And our dear friend Liz blogged about us as well....gee whiz thanks!!

And, today is the grand opening of the PIE SHOP across the street from treehouse. Sweet! So grab a treat at "The Blue Stove" and come visit our branches! Last minute Vday gifts and cards abound.....

The art of creating designs and patterns by applying fabric on top of fabric is a versatile and fun way to embellish your textile creations. Applique works hand-in-hand with embroidery, but gives you lots more coverage and impact with minimal time and effort. In this class we will learn 3 techniques for working with knits, wovens and felt. All supplies included.
4-6pm, $40

KNITTING BOOTCAMP

Always wanted to learn to knit but didn't know where to begin? Well, now's the perfect time because it's getting chilly out there, and wouldn't you like to stay warm this winter in cozy wares knit by your own two hands? and then there's also those friends and family that'd love a hand-knit present or two(made by you!)...So come get armed with knitting knowledge in this super-intensive workshop. learn cast-on, cast-off, knit stitch AND purl stitch....pretty soon you'll be knitting like a pro!

EMBROIDERY
Sunday, 1/27
The lovely Cal Patch is back in the trees again this winter with her fabulous embroidery skills and that loveable sidekick Gertie too. In this one session extravaganza, you'll learn 12 classic embroidery stitches and be off and running to custom-decorate everything you own! After making a basic stitch sampler, Cal will guide you through planning your own personal project. All supplies included ...including tasty treats!...Stitch away!
4-6 pm, $40

and if craftin's not their thing, then a gift certificate for treasures in the shop might just be perfect. you choose the amount and we'll do the rest.
