In this one session extravaganza, you'll learn 12 classic embroidery stitches and be off and running to custom-decorate everything you own! After making a basic stitch sampler, Cal will help you visualize planning your own personal project. All supplies included ...including tasty treats!...Stitch Away! Wednesday May 6th 6:30-8:30 $50 SIGN UP HERE p.s. all of our classes take place in the treehouse, sometimes during business hours. because of this, the classes are kept small so that everyone can participate (usually 4-6 people per class). once a class fills up, we'll start a waiting list for the next session. the flowers are blooming once again, and that can only mean one thing....it's craft fair season once again! and to kick off the season, can we recommend the HANDMADE CAVALCADE the weekend after this one at the bell house? many of our friend crafters of the New New team will be representin' with their handmade goods, such as betterthanjam and thisisloveforever. The art of creating designs and patterns by applying fabric on top of fabric is a versatile and fun way to embellish your textile creations. Applique works hand-in-hand with embroidery, but gives you lots more coverage and impact with minimal time and effort. In this class we will learn 3 techniques for working with knits, wovens and felt. All supplies included.

KNITTING BOOTCAMP

Always wanted to learn to knit but didn't know where to begin? Well, now's the perfect time because it's getting chilly out there, and wouldn't you like to stay warm this winter in cozy wares knit by your own two hands? and then there's also those friends and family that'd love a hand-knit present or two(made by you!)...So come get armed with knitting knowledge in this super-intensive workshop. learn cast-on, cast-off, knit stitch AND purl stitch....pretty soon you'll be knitting like a pro!
