Dear Treehouse Friend,

After months of dreaming and scheming, we've finally got a new (to us) laptop so our emails and bloggies will hopefully step up their game a bit. But we'll try not to go overboard with our excitement and keep it to the point.

First off, HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Halloween is our very favorite day to have a store, because all the trick-or-treaters in our hood do their tricks and treating at stores, such as Treehouse Brooklyn. And we're inviting you to join in the fun! We'll be passing out candy, and dishing out delicious BLOOD (orange)  COCKTAILS. Swing on by! Thursday 4-8. Oh, and vintage will be 20% OFF, so you can re-work your costume from last weekend, or completely reinvent it!

Also, stoked this Saturday to be a part of this! More SALES and more COCKTAILS... it's gonna be a treat!

We're back from our amazing spring trip, and have picked up numerous vintage treasures along the way, just in time for the bi-annual vintage event THE VINTAGE CRAWL this saturday, from noon-8! The weatherman says it's going to be another gorgeous sunny day, perfect for wandering from vintage store to bar to vintage store to...well you get the idea! And we picked up an amazing pomegranate syrup at a california farmer's market that we can't wait to turn into delicious sake cocktails. Oh yeah, and all vintage will be 20% OFF, 25% OFF with after-party ticket. We're loading the branches of treehouse full of vintage treasures, and can't wait to share them with you!

Is winter over yet??????????? We're trying to push through this last hoorah of winter, but man o man it's rough! We've been dreaming of the sun and have been making a lot of new jewels and clothes for you to sparkle in. Because we have to believe the future is bright, right?

You may remember that back in the day, we featured craft classes here at Treehouse. No longer, but we're so excited about this one-day BROOKLYN CRAFT CAMP event that features many notable craft teachers, including our crafty pals Kayte Terry of thisisloveforever and Cal Patch of hodgepodgefarm. This one-day crafting extravaganza on March 16, 2013 in Greenpoint is a full day of jam-packed DIY fun, where attendees will craft their hearts out with some of NYC's most creative authors and bloggers, while meeting new crafty friends, learning new skills, eating delicious food, sipping cocktails, and more.
